Class Schedules

Below are sample daily schedules for each of the classes.

2′s Class

9:30	Free Choice & Art	Students choose activities in two classrooms, including toys, puzzles, blocks, games, dress-up, painting easel, sensory tables, play dough, crafting, and pretend kitchen and office. The students will also rotate through a daily art project.
10:15	Cleanup	Everyone sings the “clean-up” song and helps restore the classrooms.
10:20	Circle Time	Students sit on carpet squares while Teacher reads stories and leads music/rhythm activities.
10:30	Snack	Everyone washes their hands and sits for a snack prepared by Working Parent A.
10:45	Recess	Students participate in “large muscle activity” indoors in Wells Hall, riding trikes, throwing balls, and choosing their own physical activities.
11:00	Dismissal

3′s Class

9:30	Free Choice & Art	Students choose activities in two classrooms, including toys, puzzles, blocks, games, dress-up, painting easel, sensory tables, play dough, crafting, and pretend kitchen and office. The students will also rotate through a daily art project.
10:10	Cleanup	Everyone sings the “clean-up” song and helps restore the classrooms.
10:15	Circle Time	Students perform assigned jobs, including spraying the table, setting out placements, leading the line, passing carpet squares, announcing the weather, and filling the calendar. They then sit while Teacher reads stories.
10:35	Snack	Everyone washes their hands and sits for a snack prepared by Working Parent A.
10:50	Recess	Students participate in “large muscle activity” indoors in Wells Hall, riding trikes, throwing balls, and choosing their own physical activities.
11:15	Circle Time & sharing	Students sit for sharing from Child A and participate in music/rhythm activities.
11:30	Dismissal

Pre-K Class

Tuesday & Thursday			Wednesday
12:15	Circle Time	Students arrive and await the beginning of class by looking at books from the school library. After welcome, the children take turns telling their personal news, and Teacher leads opening songs and introduces the projects for the day.	Circle Time	12:15
12:30	Blue Books	The children practice fine motor skills by practicing writing the letter of the day, and identify letter sounds, shapes, and colors with worksheets.	No blue books on Wednesdays
		On Wednesdays, students enjoy lunches brought from home. Parents are encouraged to “brown bag it” with their children.	Lunch	12:30
